TEDxIoannina is an independently organized event by a group of enthusiastic volunteers who form the TEDxIoannina team. The aim of TEDxIoannina is to bring together people in Ioannina who want to share a TED-like experience.
And what is really a “TED-like experience”? What does it feel like participating in a TEDconference?
It starts with attending inspirational people ‘giving the talks of their lives’ (in 18 minutes) on issues concerning Creativity, Innovation, Change, Diversity, Authenticity, Progress. Leading-edge scientists, passionate artists, entrepreneurs, experts and non-experts ensure that this is highly rewarding experience. The presentations surpass every expectation and aim to awaken all your senses with the use of a wide range of resources, from the latest innovative technologies to the most unexpected use/employment of human creativity.
And it goes on. And then it takes another turn.
TEDxIoannina offers a unique experience of interacting and mingling with a community of people who share the same passions, concerns and dreams, and who seek to discover novel ways of expression and reinvention. During the breaks of the sessions, a number of satellite events taking place outside the venue will give you the opportunity to discuss, exchange ideas, stir things up, challenge what you already know and get inspired by projects, creative ideas and peoples’ storytelling. Amidst these difficult times, it only takes a sweeping breeze to get things started and reignited. And this is what TEDxIoannina is here to offer.
